Ready-to-Race Look 595 Pro Team Carbon Road Bike w/SRAM Red

Selling my beautiful Look 595 carbon road bike because I’m moving into cyclocross. If you’re not familiar with Look, they’re a French company that pioneered handmade carbon frames in the 1990s; these bikes are a common sight in the European peloton, but are pretty rare in the U.S. It’s a bike that consistently get’s a lot of — well — looks, as well as compliments!

This frameset wasn’t built out into a bike until 2014 (was untouched in storage before then), so it’s only had a few seasons on it. This bike is a perfect all-rounder, ready as-is for crits, gran fondos or long endurance rides. The downtube and chainstays are stiff but with Look’s ePost system, it’s also a very comfortable ride.

It’s incredibly lightweight, coming in at just over 16lbs without pedals. And, as you’ll see below, I have upgraded nearly all of the main components in the last few months, meaning this bike shifts like butter, sprints like a bat out of hell and will literally need nothing for you to begin riding hard.

Being a small French brand, the sizing is a bit different than the U.S. Technically it’s an XL frame, but it comes in at 57cm so it’s essentially a U.S. Medium size. I am 6” and normally ride a 56cm (I also have a 58cm TT bike) and this fits great. It should perfectly fit anyone that normally rides a 56 or 58cm.

Condition is good — a few minor blemishes but nothing striking. I am a stickler for maintenance and have gotten tune-ups pre- and post-season for the two years I’ve owned the bike. Also, as noted below, I’ve replaced all cables and bar tape in late Dec. 2017.

Comes with everything shown in photos, plus some bonuses! (See below.)
